Q19 How do I hang my wall clock securely?

CAUTION!!

To hang your wall clock securely, pay attention to the following:

When hanging your clock, lightly move it from side to side and up and down and toward you to make sure that it is properly hung.
If not, you may be injured or property damage may result by the clock falling.

For the screw mounting dimensions, see the attached guide, etc.

Check the hanging location, the wall material and construction, and then select a suitable peg that can satisfactorily withstand the weight of your clock, and mount it properly.

Hang your clock with care because otherwise the wall and/or clock may be stained or damaged.

Do not use the included peg in places other than specified (wooden pole or thick wood wall).
If it is used in places other than specified, the clock may fall and you could be injured.

The peg provided cannot be used in gypsum boards, concrete, thin coated plywood boards, etc. For those type of wall, use a commercially available peg suitable for the material of the wall where you intend to hang your clock.

(Note): The above information applies to the members of the Japan Clock & Watch Association and their products.
