Q&A regarding radio-controlled watches/clocks

Q5 How long does it take for my radio-controlled watch/clock to complete radio wave reception?

Sometimes it takes 10 minutes or longer, depending on reception environments.
It takes one minute to transmit a complete time code carried by the standard radio waves. As reception may be interfered due to radio noise, it is necessary for a radio-controlled watch/clock to detect several different time codes for verification. Therefore it takes time until the correct time data is determined.
